An industry leading medical device company on the border of Minnesota and Wisconsin has a fantastic opportunity for a talented Senior Test Engineer. The ideal candidate will be involved in multiple testing activities within medical device development. This is a 9 month contract that is paying $50.00-$65.00 per hour.This leading company is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to lead a team and drive programs to successful completion. The Engineer will be involved in the following activities:
- Conduct test method validations and characterization testing
- Design verification testing, reporting results
- Document test studies by recording test results, preparing reports, and maintaining test database
- Identify product failures and provide guidance to eliminate future failures
The ideal candidate will have the following background:
- Bachelor/Master of Science in Engineering
- 5+ years test engineering, medical device development, or similar experience
- Strong understanding of test standards, material behavior, equipment and test lab methodologies
- Competence in static and cyclic testing, data acquisition, and common test engineering methodologies
