C++ - Netherlands - Media - Contract
For my Client nearby the region of Waalre, Netherlands I am looking for a Senior C++ Developer with some media experience for an initial 3 months contract.
On a daily basis you will liaise directly to the product manager and the support department. This whole team is responsible for successfully building, extending and supporting products and platforms with C++ being the main focus.
You will have 2 responsibilities, where around 50% of your time will be spent on development and 50% on Supply Chain Management.
As a developer, your prime responsibility is transforming requirements into High Quality software which is simple and maintainable. You will be required to work pragmatically and ask tough questions to clear up missing parts in the specifications. You are expected to bring contribute creative ways to improve/add their existing product lines/features.
As responsible for the Supply Chain Management, you will maintain and improve their current Supply Chain Management infrastructure and policy eg build Servers and build scripts, coverage and unit test reports, Subversion configuration.
Specific background requirements:
-C++ Expert (Minimum of 5 years of experience in software design/development )
-Experience writing high-performance, soft-Real Time systems
-Experience in Media Technology (audio, video or image processing)
-Experience with Agile Development and Test Driven development
-Fluent in English speech and writing
Bonus points :
-Knowledge of web technologies (Javascript/HTML)
-Experience with low level integration with audio and video capture boards
-Experience with Supply chain management: build infrastructure
