Position: Instructional Designer
Type: Contract- 6 months
Location: Mountain View, CA 94043

Our client is seeking an Instructional Designer for three months to work as part of their Global Learning Design team supporting Sales clients. This role will specifically involve developing an E-learning training module Industry Analysis for Industry Managers.

The role will involve working directly with Learning Business Partners, Curriculum Managers and stakeholders in the general business organization to generate appropriate industry analysis skills content and develop video and rapid E-learning training materials for self-service delivery, as well as producing job aids and other supporting materials.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Design, Education, Computer Science, Graphic Design, Interaction Design or equivalent.
  • Master's degree and/or equivalent experience an advantage.
  • 3+ years of experience designing, developing and implementing interactive E-learning programs/courseware preferably in a corporate multinational setting or in a product, sales or manager training context.
  • Proficient in all aspects of training development and delivery, including instructional design methodologies, curriculum design and development, project management, needs analysis, implementation strategies, evaluation and assessment techniques. Ability to write concise copy and optimize text for the web an advantage.
  • Proficiency in rapid E-learning courseware development and related tools (MS Powerpoint, Articulate Presenter, Camtasia, Smartbuilder or similar, iMovie, Premier Pro, After Effects) as well as a strong working knowledge of media formats and standards.
  • Ability to create custom creative graphic assets, compelling web page layouts, presentations, infographics, documents and other training material combining text and image.
  • Proficient in HTML, CSS, basic web design.
  • Experience working with CMS/LMS systems for content management and delivery.
