Description

This will be a varied role in a busy environment. The post holder will work as part of the Accounts Receivable Team, reporting to the Head of Accounts Receivable and Payable.

Detailed Requirements

Line management responsibility for two staff.
Conducting staff appraisals, monthly 121's and coaching.
Daily & monthly reporting activities.
Issuing of Cards
Card administration
Guidance & training of card users
Monitoring expenditure
Maintenance of management information
Payment of card statements by due date
Card holder query resolution and support.
Liaison with bank.
Monitoring input of charging instructions
Monitoring card usage
To identify opportunities for continuous process improvement and work with their line manager to implement and monitor new processes and procedures which reflect any changes to the business.
To ensure that all policies and procedures are kept up to date.
Undertake any other administrative duties which are deemed appropriate within the context of the Credit Controllers role and facilitate the achievement of wider team objectives.

Skills/Experience Required
Minimum GCSEs including English and Maths
Ability to organise and prioritise work to achieve deadlines;
Numerical and analytical skills - able to quantify and interpret data and demonstrate attention to detail.
IT literate. Familiarity with database systems and use of EXCEL to construct spreadsheets for reporting purposes;
Sound communication and interpersonal skills;
Ability to take initiative, identify and respond to business service requirements.
Understanding of the inter-relationship of various finance functions/processes which support the business;
Previous experience of accounts receivable activity within a commercial environment;
Familiarity with PRISM/Oracle (Accounts Receivable Module) or similar management information system
