My County Kerry based client has an excellent opportunity for a Senior IT Engineer to join their team on an initial 3 month contract with a strong likelihood the contract will be extended for a further 6 months
Role: Senior Engineer
- Job Purpose and Accountabilities:
- Change control management,
- Design and implementation of server virtualizations
- Server builds
- SAN storage projects
- Build out of tasks and time estimates reporting back into a project manager
Skills
- Must have:
- 5 plus years experience
- Extensive knowledge in VMware,
- Windows server ,
- change control knowledge,
- VMware certification
Desirable Skills:
- HP SAN storage and Data protector tape backup experience,
- Active Directory and group policy knowledge,
- Microsoft MCTS certification,
- Oracle knowledge,
- Citrix knowledge
