European Marketing Manager -West London- Specialist Care Up to £80K.

We are now working with a leading Global Pharmaceutical company who work specifically in specialist care to find a European Marketing Manager. It is a critical role that will underpin the current commercial activities and all future pipeline expansion.

Through Pan European Marketing insights the role will be responsible for ensuring the principles of the patient-oriented mindset are core to all Marketing initiatives.

The role will involve lead the review and implementation of the current EU go-to-market strategy to ensure appropriate regional support for Product Managers, increase market share and achievement of financial objectives for the Area.

The role will involve working closely with regional teams to be able to build detailed insights and further market understanding in order to support the evolution of the current strategy and to support excellence in execution at local level.

This will be a highly visible role and it will be expected that the incumbent will work with and gain support of EU initiatives through interaction with Regional Marketers, GMs and country leadership teams.

The role will also involve providing leadership and support to the regional product managers as well as country product managers/ business unit managers.

Play a key role in supporting the wider commercial and stakeholder team to deliver initiatives that build awareness, clinical education and knowledge of addiction and the franchise amongst all stakeholder groups to achieve commercial objectives.

The role is directly responsible for leading the implementation of EU-wide strategies to drive development and execution of professional and consumer/patient marketing initiatives, insights development and messaging delivery, sales support and PR.

The position is core to the commercial team and will play a key role in supporting excellence in execution and pull through of EU marketing strategies at the country level.
  • Lead the development and implementation of key EU marketing initiatives to deliver financial and share goals of the business.

  • In conjunction with the commercial and health policy team:
    • Develop and implement marketing initiatives targeted to the stakeholder groups (physicians, policymakers and patients) to meet the strategic goals of the business
    • Conduct market research as required to test and validate current and future initiatives and investment levels
    • Ensure best practice sharing across region proposing improvements and refining strategy as appropriate
    • Ensure alignment of all initiatives with health policy blue chips

  • Take the lead in the management of complex and multi-functional projects as required/defined including oversight over agency partners and relationships

Educational Background

  • Degree educated in marketing or business preferred ideally with additional science, healthcare or medical related qualifications


Professional Experience

  • Experience at a Senior Brand Manager position with experience gained within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience in Sales role would be beneficial.
  • Project management experience
  • Experience of working in a specialist niche category/disease space
  • Entrepreneurial and financially & commercially astute
