Job Role: Graduate Embedded Software Engineer

Location:Manchester

Salary: £28,000 - £34,000 depending on experience.

Graduate Embedded Software Engineer opportunity to a well establishedManchester based company. You will be involved in the full product life cycle and working with leading technologies. This is a great opportunity to develop further technical skills if you have graduated with maybe 1 or two years commercial experience working on projects.

Ideally you will have the following experience:-

- Degree in Electronic Engineering/Computer Science (or similar) with a good understanding of
embedded software systems including both analogue and digital or relevant experience.

- Highly proficient in C/C++ and Assembly programming languages

- Embedded software development experience under real time operating system (RTOS)
environments

- Experience with software versioning and revision control

- Exposure of embedded Linux

Desirables include:-

- Knowledge of ARM9/ARM-Cortex and DSP architectures

- EMC/EMI awareness

- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols and standards (MODBUS, IEC 61850)
