Customer Strategy Manager required for a 3 month contract based in Reading.

Overview of role & responsibilities:

* Supporting development of the Agency's customer strategy by researching actionable insights from customer segments; ensure farmers, traders and intermediary roles are served by the Agency across the agri-food supply chain.
* Assisting with management of the Customer Satisfaction Survey, working with external supplier to produce quarterly insight and reporting.
* Drafting materials for external publication of Customer Satisfaction Survey results (publicising results and improvements made across the year).
* Assisting with management of the Client Farmer Panel; a bespoke research tool used to inform project planning and delivery. Working with external supplier, managing data and research content, results analysis and reporting of improvement recommendations to Agency.
* Assisting with building and maintaining an Insight Dossier; database detailing and storing all existing insight re: Client customers and agri-industries.
* Proactively engaging with Projects and Stakeholders to maximise use of customer insight; helping to ensure that service delivery is aligned wherever possible to customer needs and preferences.

Essential Criteria:

* Experience in undertaking customer research, data analysis and presentation
* Experience of translating customer insight into tangible business improvements
* Proven track record of working on projects that improve external customer experience
* Ability to quickly understand the regulations governing multiple schemes and services and their impact on different customer segments
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proven ability to present and influence internal and external stakeholders
* Experience of risk & issues management; monitoring the impact of insight upon other Projects or business areas (and associated risks of not using/commissioning insight)
* Experience of working within agricultural subsidising Agency/environments
