Web Designer/Developer

Link Technologies is looking for a Web Designer/Developer for a Las Vegas public sector client. This contract assignment is expected to begin in May 2013.   

Position will function as a DotNetNuke (DNN) Content Management System (CMS) developer and trainer working with Client Sites,  in learning and developing individualized Intranet sites. 

Duties will include:

-Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and the ability to collaborate with business unit customers, IT and Management.
-Demonstrate professional organizational, documentation, communication and interpersonal skills. 
-Maintain and communicate accurate status of work performed. 
-Strong ability to meet deadlines and to manage multiple project tasks simultaneously.
-Attend project and team meetings to report results and take assignments.
-Use business requirements identified and supplied by customers and stakeholders to determine appropriate solutions to business needs.
-Ability to interview and communicate with end users, developers and others in person or on the phone to obtain and clarify business requirements.
-Develop training materials to include presentations, hand-outs, etc., as aids to staff training.
-Schedule and track training for department users, technical staff and other stakeholders specific to DNN CMS configuration and development.
-Conduct beginning and intermediate level training sessions for department users, technical staff and other stakeholders specific to DNN CMS configuration and development.
-Assist users, technical staff, and other stakeholders throughout the training process by collecting and analysing feedback, and making recommendations where appropriate.
-Develop documentation to aid in the continued use, configuration and development of DNN such as User Manuals, Operational Guides, FAQs, and Quick Reference Guides. 
-Contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the team's service by offering suggestions or direction as a member of the project team.
-Must be able to write and communicate effectively.
-Use standard office equipment.
-May be required to drive a personal motor vehicle in the course of the work. 
-Ability to travel to different Client Sites, NV locations to provide training and other project related services. 

Special Skills:

-Expertise in Web based content management system (CMS) configuration and development specific to DotNetNuke (DNN)
-Knowledge of, and experience in, the various modules, skins, and other applications offered by and used in DNN configuration and development.
-Experience in Web application development with an emphasis on the utilization of (but not limited to) ASP.NET, C#, PHP, MSSQL, JavaScript, and JavaScript Libraries.
-Experience and Knowledge of MS SharePoint and its integration with DotNetNuke through the SharePoint Connector ©.
-Experience in providing user training, and developing training materials using MS PowerPoint, MS Word and/or other similar training tools.
-Experience in using and setting up audio/visual and computer equipment used in the course of providing training such as projectors, laptop PCs, etc.

Estimated Duration Of Job:

-Full-time during core working hours (8 AM to 5 PM) - Estimated duration of 40 hrs. (resource required during the month of May 2013)
