I have a fantastic opportunity for a Mechanical Project Engineer to join a drilling company based in Aberdeen. My client is offering a years contract which will be office based with occasional offshore visits to the rig until the latter part of the year which will be based at the Shipyard within the UK.As a Mechanical project engineer your work will include:
* Arrange and carry out offshore surveys
* Obtain design approval
* Supervise / arrange instillation at the shipyard
* Supervise / arrange commission at the shipyard
* Prepare initial scope of work
* Arrange fabrication
* Compile close-out documentation
Requirements:
- Degree in relevant engineering discipline
- Project experience (advantageous if it's with a drilling company / contractor)
- Oil and Gas industry experience
- 5 years + in the relevant role
- Onshore / offshore experience
-Current BOSIET, MIST and medical
