PRG are working with a leading Investment/Asset Management client based in London. Our client requires a contract ICAAP Process Manager for initial 6 month contract with immediate start.

Role Requirements
Overview and management of Internal Capital Adequacy Process across the region. This includes designing new requirements leveraging from emerging regulations, encouraging consistent roll out of standards and monitoring compliance of these standards across EMEA. Supporting Stress Testing and ICAAP and annual documentation deliverables across the EMEA region. Produce, Monitor and ascertain ICAAP documents' consistency and compliance with agreed standards across EMEA and produce Capital Adequacy reporting packs for EMEA committees.
Design and maintain the Capital Adequacy process and methodology developments and have a good working knowledge of the technical requirements for Pillar 2 economic capital methodologies and models; Particularly preferential to have a good working knowledge of advance modelling techniques for Operational, Credit and Market Risk. Prepare and present Management Information for the Capital Adequacy process for multiple level reporting having excellent documentation skills as well as strong spread sheet and database experience. The role will involve management of models, data validation and output reconciliation across a multiple legal entities and the role holder must be able to process information efficiently and to a high standard. Lead on consistency in setting risk appetite and tolerances, risk limits and capital budget decisions. Maintain strong cross functional links with Compliance, Finance, Risk, Internal Audit and Legal team and therefore must have a sound understanding of financial accounts, as well as be adept at data manipulation, trend analysis and report preparation. In depth knowledge of the capital requirements directive as it is applied to a number of European jurisdictions. The ability to manage multiple levels of priorities and deliverables across lines of business, functions and entities, and adapt approach as required across each of these levels. High profile position of importance in ensuring regulatory obligations are met across the region. Will be required to have regular interaction with senior management so the candidate must have excellent communication skills. Negotiation skills are also required in achieving deliverables from multiple sources internally. Must be articulate as delivery of presentations, hosting working groups and maintaining relationships is a key element of the post. Advanced Degree. Two or more years in regulatory function. ICAAP process/production preferred

Key attributes I am looking for in the ICAAP Process Manager;
Experience of using and/or development of a financial stress testing system (we will have developers onsite) Experience of development of policies, procedures and guidance documentation for the regional stress testing framework In depth experience of AMA scenario development process Good working knowledge of data quality, model controls, reconciliations, framework management for stress testing and ICAAP Good working knowledge of regulatory expectation for governance for stress testing  and ICAAP Experience of process to link risk assessments/reporting to stress testing and documenting process.
