Software Implementation Engineer
Daily Rate Contract - Dublin
Role:
- Project Manage, implement and support customer installations including:
- Microsoft Windows Server Platforms
- Microsoft SQL Server Databases
- Microsoft IIS Environments
- Adest Client & Server Products
- OLE DB and ODBC Datasources, Linked Servers
- Develop and maintain expert technical knowledge of ERP/Accounts products.
- Liaise with related sales & product technical teams to ensure customer calls are progressed.
- Ensure customers receive the best quality support in an efficient, knowledgeable, timely manner.
- Effectively deliver documentation and administration duties for helpdesk and project related functions.
- Other day to day departmental duties as required.
Required Profile:
- A focussed, enthusiastic, structured and highly organised and motivated individual
- A college degree or similar qualification in an IT related field.
- Solid experience in Microsoft (MCP Preferable) systems administration and infrastructure support.
- Proficient with Microsoft Operating System, and IIS technologies.
- SQL Server DBA experience incorporating or equivalent:
Strong Sql programming - SQL queries, Stored Procedures, Triggers
SQL Server Integration Services, Reporting Services, Linked Servers, query string connections to third Party ERP/Accounts packages - Previous experience installing or working with ERP/Accounts packages a definite advantage
- Customer facing Pre and Post Sales Technical consultancy experience is a must.
- Project Management experience utilising tools such as MS Project, Visio
- Experience with virtualisation, ERP and Accounts package integration is desirable.
- Sound helpdesk-based technical support experience with exposure to remote access tools.
- Exceptional troubleshooting and problem analysis skills.
- An enthusiasm for emerging technologies and developing technical skills.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and deliver according toSLA's.
- Excellent communication and presentation skill with fluent written and verbal English.
- Full, clean driving licence. Own transport required
