Description
We are looking for a Configuration Management specialist to join our team for a contract position in the Alpharetta area. This is an exciting opportunity for you to help in the migration of our current source control software to TFS. You should possess good troubleshooting skills, configure and deploy source code control solutions, ability to understand and research application deployment issues, and ability to create solutions that resolve customer issues while practicing good software configuration management standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Migrating existing Visual SourceSafe to Team Foundation Server
- Configuring Continuous Integration solution in TFS (or other recommended tool)
- Configure TFS to support QA test case management
- Configure deployment/setup scripts to install windows service applications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (or a related field)
- Knowledge of standard software development life cycles
- Knowledge of TFS (3+ years' experience preferred)
- Knowledge of MSI (or similar) installation Scripting (3+ years' experience preferred)
