Description
Messaging Technician is required to provide administration and maintenance of Domino and MS Exchange e-mail/database application for a global ICT organisation. The successful Messaging Technician will be based in Valencia, Spain on an initial 6 month contract. The key skills needed are Lotus Notes Domino and MS Exchange and Linux or Windows operating systems.Messaging Technician Responsibilities:
* Responsible for supporting, operating and maintaining messaging infrastructure - Domino and MS Exchange email/database applications
* Responsible for final testing and deployment of email solutions and related systems as well as all related technical documentation.
Essential Skills and Experience:
* 3 years of experience in operating and maintaining messaging infrastructure
* Knowledge of Lotus Notes Domino and MS Exchange
* Good knowledge of SuSE Linux and Windows server operating systems
* Fair Knowledge of LotusScript, PowerShell or similar Scripting tool
* Experience in drafting technical documents
* Exposure in Information Security Management System (ISMS: ISO 27001), ITIL framework and other industry standard related best practices
* Ability to work under pressure and with minimum supervision
* Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team of diverse skills.
* Good communication and presentation skills.
* Excellent knowledge of English (both written and verbal) is required and knowledge of Spanish is desirable.
