We are currently working together on the recruitment of a Clerical Engineering position to work out of one of the companies Kerry offices. Reporting to the maintenance manager, this fixed term entry level role will build capability for taking on responsibility for the cataloguing and recording of all equipment and spare parts at the companies Kerry site.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting and communicating with the production team to achieve site schedules and provide engineering solutions to recurring reactive maintenance issues / bottlenecks in relation to spare parts.
- Responsible for the administration and documentation of all spare parts.
- Maintain ownership for the cataloguing of parts in the engineering / stores environment.
- Interfacing with the development teams to help rollout of any new applications.
- Liaison with the manufacturing teams on capital projects from specification stage through to the commissioning phase.
- Maintain a close working relationship with maintenance managers to progress maintenance at the site.
- Regular contact with all site suppliers so as to build a portfolio of information on the plant equipment.
- Ensure site documentation is accurate, timely and relevant.
- Provide a helpful and professional service at all times.
Job Requirements:
- A third level engineering qualification.
- The individual most possess the ability to work unsupervised and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills.
- The successful candidate will possess strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, as well as having excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to achieve through people.
- Knowledge and experience of Auto CAD would be advantageous, as well as a strong Excel background.
- Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal with a variety of internal / external contacts.
Salary:
Up to €28,000
