We are looking for an experienced developer to lead the design and implementation of the Android branch of our mobile App. The App should possess a great UI and UX and be made with a fresh trends of the Android design guidelines in mind. The App should also allow a fair amount of customisations to fulfill the needs of our customers. A good candidate should conduct the development process at a fast pace to ensure shortest time to market for our product as it is critical at the current stage.
Responsibilities
Independently develop native mobile applications for Android platform according to specifications handed to you by our architecture and design team.
Implement complex and responsive UI's utilizing the native frameworks including animations to ensure positive UX.
Work in constant dialogue with our design team to fulfill all the design requirements.
Be a part of the architecture team responsible for approving client architecture as well as client/server integration issues and APIs.
Work independently or with a group of developers on-site.
Be self-directed and pro-active in a fast paced, successful, growing organization with the ability to balance multiple priorities and objectives simultaneously.
Requirements
Great experience in development of native Android apps
Deep knowledge of Java, Android SDK and Frameworks
Familiarity with best practices of Android/Java development
Strong understanding of interactive application development paradigms, memory management, file I/O, concurrency and caching
Knowledge of UI/UX design principles
Experience in development for tablets
Knowledge of REST and JSON
Knowledge of localization techniques
Experience with Push/GCM
Knowledge of underlying APK build processes
Exceptional candidates will have:
