An opportunity has arisen for a Java Developer to join this well established company in the financial sector. You will be joining the newly formed and expanding development team on an exciting project in South Yorkshire for an initial 6 months on a contract basis.The successful applicant will be working on designing and developing the client's web services incorporating a full development life cycle.
The ideal candidate will have solid experience in:
- Java (3+ years)
- XML
- Apache
- Maven/Ant
- JUnit & relevant testing experience
- Subversion
- HTML, CSS & JavaScript
- Oracle
- Agile SCRUM
Desirables:
- WebSphere, JBoss, SQL, PL/SQL
Further experience working for financial end clients will be a favourable bonus.
