Responsibilities
  • Adds data to a SharePoint site.
  • Monitors and controls the computer in accordance with established standards.
  • Assists in system operations by setting up, operating and maintaining computer peripherals.
  • Operates and monitors systems performance via console and online terminals.
  • May assist in restart jobs, consulting technical staff when the cause of the problem is not apparent.
  • Assists in maintaining records to supplement logs, including problem documentation, actions taken, file identification and similar data. Assures that all reports are printed and delivered in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Develops and maintain a working knowledge of the operating commands for systems.
SKILLS

Most critical: MUST have experience adding data to a SharePoint site. Must have the ability to operate, setup, and maintain computer peripherals and the ability to identify and solve system problems with minimal assistance from technical staff. Good communication and interpersonal skills are needed. Demonstrated ability to maintain reports and other documentation required.
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and at least two, typically four or more years of computer operations experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Must be a team player, quick learner, and a self-starter with a desire for self-improvement.
