Role: Communications Manager - Internal - Trade Union Comms - Banking - Edinburgh - £360/day

Purpose of the Programme
Our client, a major UK retail bank, are going through a large change programme across their insurance division that has a lot of operational impacts/changes and will also require communicating internally and with trade unions.

Purpose of the role
The purpose of the role is to develop, implement and manage communications activity supporting the centralisation activities currently being undertaken by Project Sovereign. 

5 Key Accountabilities:

  • Work with the Business & project team to create a comprehensive communications plan, encompassing internal & external stakeholders
  • Manage the implementation of al communications required on the programme, including to colleague, customers, unions and project stakeholders
  • Create clear and concise communication material for the programme
  • Challenge the programme teams to ensure they are communicating at the right time and with the right message.

  • Project Management
  • Experience of communicating to internal & external stakeholders in relation to organisational change
  • Experience of union engagement

Desirable Skills

  • Insurance Experience with Pensions and Investments experience                                                                                                                                        

Additional Information
This is primarily a communications role, but requires PM type skills to plan, develop and implement the required deliverables
