My Client a Lloyds of London Syndicate is looking for an experienced Financial Modeller to propose new methodologies and build planning, forecasting, risk and other financial models to drive the plan process, provide analytics to management and contribute to the implementation of other projects.

You will be building a system for the US GAAP planning process migrating all aspects of technical and non-technical assumptions required to build the plan and multiyear forecast into a database/spreadsheet application that will be used by the finance team.

You will also be required to:
- Rebuild the reinsurance planning process, handing over to the Data Warehouse team.
- Redesign the methodology for syndicate cash flow forecasting and build an application around year-end ash balances.
- Build a system that allows the Syndicate to calculate its exposure to all reinsurers
- Design, build and maintain a database to facilitate benchmarking of Lloyd's Syndicates and listed (re)insurers.

Required knowledge and experience for this role includes:
- CIMA/ACA/ACCA qualified accountant
- Exposure of US GAAP/UKGAAP/Solvency II
- Advanced Excel skills including VBA programming
- Advanced Access skills including SQL and VBA programming
- Experience of submitting SBF, TPD, GQD, SRD and NAIC Returns
