A leading public services company are recruiting an Online Communications Officer to join their team on a temporary basis.

The purpose of the role is to proactively manage and deliver content migration to new online channels in support of business integration programme.

Key responsibilities include:
*Support the Senior Online Manager in delivering a review of online communications channels in line with the integration programme
*Review and oversee migration of content from existing online channels to identified new platforms (Intranet, web and social media platforms)
*Upload/edit existing and new Intranet and website content
*Oversee the updating of Intranet and website news pages on a daily basis
*Support writing of content, including production of associated website banners
*Oversee image use across online channels, including editing and sourcing of images where required
*Develop and manage a network of content owners across online channels
*Develop new content for the Marketing and Communications Team Intranet pages
*Support the News Team in updating Yammer and social media platforms where required
*Select and manage preferred suppliers as required, ensuring they deliver against budgets and timeframes

Skills:
*Excellent writing skills and project management skills
*Able to liaise with the business at all levels
*Able to make things happen
*Able to work within tight deadlines

Experience:
*Experience of web, blogging or communications programmes
*Good understanding of writing and publishing online content
*Management of online communities
*Able to demonstrate a good understanding of appropriate and engaging content for employee audiences
*Ability to update content on Dreamweaver and dotnetnuke platforms
