A leading public services company are recruiting an experienced Communications Manager to join their team on a temporary basis.

The purpose of the role is to proactively manage and deliver employee communications in support of the business integration programme, as well as to provide effective management of external communications.

Key responsibilities include:

*Communicating key news and ensuring employees remain informed and engaged through the integration programme
*Developing and ensuring consistent messaging across all communications channels
*Responsible for delivery of fortnightly integration newsletter
*Overseeing and managing integration update pages on internal intranets
*Oversee integration news across all existing internal and external communications channels, including employee magazines, noticeboards, internal briefings and websites
*Managing and developing external integration messaging for use with the media (proactive and reactive)
*Ensuring close liaison with rebrand project team, managing client press office liaison in line with key timescales
*Ensuring that senior management are updated on communications proposals and insights, with clear and identified sign off procedures developed
*Selecting and managing preferred suppliers as required, ensuring they deliver against budgets and timeframes
*Supporting communication channels reviews and new channel development

As well as experience in a similar role, the successful candidate will possess skills in the following areas:

*Very organised
*Budget management
