Description
MQ capability to assist programmes and project teams with the following activities
1. Understand the implementation patterns currently in use in the organization (and document them). Have a list of approved/preferred design patterns that can be used by projects.
2. Document the various versions and platforms where MQ is implemented (at least the major ones)
3. Perform platform and architecture review and design assistance for projects designing solutions that use MQ
4. Verify installations/configurations on various environments (requires access to environments like pre-prod/prod on vendor managed environment - IBM/HP)
5. Perform assistance in troubleshooting issues (all environments, not just production)... again... requires access
6. Provide guidance and testing to verify version upgrades of MQ on various platforms
7. Work as the authority towards vendors to force vendors to work together (Both sides will say that their side is working but still nothing works)
