Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop business plans for telecom operators.
- Translate customer needs and business opportunities into detailed business strategies & technical solutions.
- Pre-sales consulting activities at end-to-end solution level to advice operators on how to evolve their network and business in the future.
- Interacting with customers to understand & analyze service & technical requirements, set strategies and design commercially viable technical solutions based on their specific business needs.
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
- More than 10 years of experience with a proven track record within well-known international telecommunication equipment vendors as Business/Network Consultant or Solution Architect.
- 5+ years experience of business plan development with at least 2 tier 1 telecom operators as a consultant - Experience from European or Middle-East regional offices or a local account is required.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills with operators.
- Skilled in cooperating across different organizational units and gathering, communicating and balancing stakeholder interests.
- The position involves meeting high level directors, managers and their experts. Candidate must be able to handle such discussions (CxO level interactions).
- It is important the candidate is a team-player. The Strategy & Network Consulting projects involve teams with different roles. The successful candidate should be flexible and able to take several roles in the team depending on the project requirement eg project leader, business analyst or high level technical solution design.
Education:
- MSc in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering or similar preferred
Skill:
- High-level understanding of technologies used in the ICT industry today
- Specialist experience from one or more core network solution areas eg SDM, IMS, Multimedia Services (eg RCS, HD conference, IPTV, etc), FMC, VoLTE, EPC & Service & Network Quality Management
- Experience and technical background in solution integration.
