Public Sector - Development Officer - Funding Programme

Our public sector client is looking for an Outcomes Development Officer to join their team on a contract basis; you will help to deliver a funding programme that delivers genuine value for some of the most vulnerable residents

Responsibilities:
Working with funded organisations tackling social inequality to measure and articulate their outcomes
Build relationships with community centres to help build their capacity and develop their offer to the community
Advising innovative projects aimed at tackling ingrained social issues
Supporting organisations that are promoting new and established forms of volunteering, giving and change
Encouraging and embedding best practice

Required skills:
Understanding of contemporary approaches to outcomes monitoring and evaluation techniques
Understanding of the role that third sector organisations have in the well being and quality of life of individuals and communities
Knowledge of contemporary approaches to, and issues in, public sector commissioning
