Interim Director - Location Strategy - Tier 1 Investment Bank
An integral part of this programme of work will include a major relocation phase, tasked with driving a holistic overall Location Strategy Programme across the global technology teams, with a focus on standardisation, virtualisation and rationalisation.
With global locations already identified, we are currently seeking an exceptional individual to drive forward the programme throughout the full end to end process - from mapping out current roles and responsibilities with senior stakeholders and programme sponsors, through to designing and implementing the location blueprint and implementing the major "near shoring/right shoring/off shoring" of staff to lower cost centres.
To be successful, you will be able to demonstrate previous experience implementing a similar book of work globally, within a large, complex environment. You will have previously led a definitive top down review of an organisation, mapped out key roles and responsibilities and put in place ambitious relocation strategies spanning multiple regions and jurisdictions. You will understand the pitfalls faced by such an ambitious project and will have the ability to avoid the mistakes commonly made.
A flexible approach is essential as this is an ever changing environment as the programme advances through the various stages of delivery. In addition, you will have a deep understanding of the day to day tasks of a global technology team in order to communicate effectively at all levels and to understand the intricacies of mapping out an organisation from the top down.
