MORTGAGE PRODUCT HEAD
To direct the product portfolio of Mortgages, Credit Cards, Unsecured Loans, to delight customers, to deliver commercial success, develop future business and to realise the strategic vision - all within a defined risk appetite and policy.
Participate in the creation of the strategic vision, translate and implement that vision and manage the delivery roadmap for within Retail Banking's annual and medium term plans to ensure business priorities and performance goals are achieved.
Maintain effective market intelligence to track key market development, trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and to manage risks in order to develop competitive and compelling products (including intermediary lending products) and recruit and retain relationship customers, build scale and leverage brand and membership.
Using FSA product life cycle principles deliver the manufacture and sourcing of competitive and compelling products (including intermediary lending products) that meet customer need, deliver P&L objectives, support the customer promise and customer relationship strategy to ensure that the portfolio continues to develop in line with the strategic vision and agreed operating plan.
Direct the development, tracking and delivery of the annual operating plan and budget, using performance monitoring and business insight to capitalise on new opportunities and to effectively mitigate risks.
Actively manage all key stakeholders in the P&L, to ensure customer outcomes, service levels, operational costs and key control/quality metrics are in line with plan expectations.
Directly accountable for all aspects of end to end process ownership, SLA delivery, cost efficiency/effectiveness KPIs, for the Portfolio. Understand key benchmarks of "what good looks like" across whole value chain in order to deliver the annual/medium term plans.
Represent on critical industry forums and committees, in order to promote and enhance our external standing/reputation.
