Description
Our direct client in Whitehouse Station, NJ is in need of an IT Project Manager to fill a 9-month contract position. The client is specifically looking for an experienced PM who has extensive detailed hand-on SDLC operational experience in managing 'controlled' application changes/implementations (eg, not network/technical infrastructure type projects).

Overtime: straight time
- Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree or Commensurate Experience
- 5-7 years of experience in technology, business, management or project leadership (experience in the Financial Services industry a plus)
- Experience managing in a Matrix environment
- Demonstrated experience in project management and/or team leadership with high quality (ie proven track record)
- Results oriented and analytical with the ability to lead others
- Innovative, flexible and adaptable
- Good understanding of IT environments/technologies
- Good written and verbal communication, relationship management, interpersonal, conflict and negotiation skills
- PMI or PMP certification desired
