Ihre Aufgaben:
- Responsible for the conception (if necessary), setup, rollout, configuration, documentation and trainings and as soon as the project is rolled out and the system is live responsible for the operation for the entire database layer.
- Responsible for deployment tasks and a member of the Database deployment group.
- Support and administration of a the existing database application within a High availability environment based on a database RAC. Working in out of office hours with oncall or smaller shifts during the hot project phases is required
Ihre Qualifikation
- Experience in Database Operations within high availability environments, advantageous as OCP
- Advanced tuning-, trace- and performance Know How for databases 10g and 11g SQL tuning Know How
- Strong Skills within Oracle HA Environment, specially RAC and DataGuard
- Experiences with big databases (Terabyte area) and complex process models
- Experience with data warehouse functionality on oracle databases
- Very good skills for SQL/PL-SQL
- Strong Unix and Linux OS system skills
- Strong Oracle database application Know How
- Basic scripting know how in Unix environments (Perl, Shell, awk, sed)
- Storage System Know How
- ITIL Foundation (advantageous)
- Absolute analytic approach in operational issues
- Monitoring and alerting principles and development know how also with OEM
- Strong documentation skills
- Experiences with deployment tools and deployment procedures
- Security awareness
- English
