Supplier Quality EngineerI am working with an Automotive client based in the North East who is looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to start a 6 month contract ASAP.
The role is to assist in the development, management and assurance of defect-free performance of the business' supplier base with the objective of overall quality improvement.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A broad product and process knowledge of manufacturing techniques. E.g. forging, casting, machining, fabrications, complex and electronic assemblies etc.
- Strong computer skills including standard office software (MS office etc)
- Thorough knowledge of engineering standards, engineering/manufacturing processes, quality tools and methodology.
