Computer Futures are looking for a Systems Administrator for one of our main clients in Southampton.Administration of servers and systems including Active Directory, Exchange, file servers and backup systems. Work on regional and global projects within a global team. Manage server monitoring systems, hardware support, security updates and anti-virus systems.

Symantec backup Exec & Netbackup
Your main duties and responsibilities will be:
- Responsibility for day to day IT operational effectiveness
- To ensure all systems are maintained, patched, fully optimised and are running at the correct version level
- Active Directory and Exchange administration
- Installation and Configuration of HP Servers to global corporate standards
- Equipment contract maintenance
- Maintaining a reliable and proven backup strategy for regional offices
- Monitoring and preventive maintenance of servers
- Perform Windows server upgrades including Exchange, AD and other systems
- Maintain Anti-virus environment
- Domain/Email integrations
- Responsibility for planning, managing and coordinating assigned projects.
- Reviews, monitors and tracks projects, ensuring relevant documentation has been completed, all resources including staff, physical, virtual are aligned. Ensures quality and execution of the project are flawless and consistent.
- and translate user/business requirements to ensure successful delivery of projects.
- Creates detailed design specifications always ensuring innovation and latest technologies are reviewed and used where appropriate.
- Formulate and define technical scope/SoW for projects.
Salary Paying £35,000 - £40,000
