Description
A position has arisen within the Quality Department for a QC Inspector who will be responsible for the performance of inspection/tests and status marking of products processed in the Machine Shop and Test and Assembly shop.Main duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:-
- Ensuring correct material is being utilised to produce relevant part
- Inspection of machined parts
- Ensuring all components have undergone relevant NDT/heat treatment operations
- Ensuring all parts are assembled in accordance with drawing assembly details
- Ensuring relevant factory acceptance/integrations tests and flushing operations are documented
- Processing of inspection and non conformance reports
- Liaison with customer inspections representatives
- Ensuring raw/finished material complies to Purchase Order requirement
- Ensuring supplied certification meets Purchase Order requirements and where applicable relevant material specification
- Ensuring all goods receiving reports/certification is correctly processed
- Verifying condition/description of outgoing parts complies with order requirements
- Ensuring all products are correctly loaded for transit prior to leaving premises
- Ensuring shipping inspection reports/certification is correctly processed
The successful candidate should be a team player with the ability to interface with other departments as well as be able to demonstrate a methodical work attitude and have a mechanical or machining background with considerable experience in Quality Control Inspection/Testing in a Manufacturing environment. Good computer skills and excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
