Title: Voice & Data Systems Analyst

Location: Atlanta, GA (Downtown)

Duration: Contract- 6 months

Our client is seeking a Voice & Data Systems Analyst to implement and provide technical support for my client's production Data and Voice Network systems. The Data Network support includes, but is not limited to: routing/switching, integration of voice and data technologies. The Voice network support includes, but is not limited to: VoIP, Voicemail systems, Voice Networking, ACD's, Voice Response Units, Voice Recording systems, Workforce Management, and Computer Telephony Integration.

Responsibilities:

  • The position implements engineering projects and coordinates efforts between designated resources across the company to ensure that problems and issues are addressed.
  • The position works closely with Engineering and Field Operations personnel to insure proper implementation and configuration of new technologies.
  • The position works closely with peer Infrastructure Services groups to insure implementation of their technologies and the data and voice network strategies.
  • The position works closely with the IT Infrastructure Operations Center to ensure that proper procedures are in place to support end-user requests and to populate the IT Knowledge Base.
  • The position provides technical expertise and guidance to maintain the integrity and security of my client's production networks and assets.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Configuration, troubleshooting and administration of Avaya Aura IP based PBX systems and Avaya Aura Experience Portal (AEP).
  • Development of CTI based solutions
  • Knowledge of voice networks, ACD's, and Avaya and Cisco VoIP systems
  • Experience with voice recording technologies (NICE)
  • Experience with call center workforce management systems (IEX WFM - TotalView)
  • Expertise in multiple server operating systems (Windows, UNIX, Linux)
  • Desirable programming skills (VXML, Java, Visual Basic, C and C++)
  • The ability to analyze the interrelationship between network, server, storage and application problems quickly, develop alternative solutions, and select the most appropriate action.
  • The ability to analyze an issue and recommend alternatives to improve the process (automation)
  • Ability to understand the impact of changes on the downstream products/infrastructure
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to negotiate and influence others
  • Ability to function independently and as a team member
  • Comprehensive customer service skills
  • Comprehensive analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to learn new approved technologies and apply them
