Description
System Inventory & Assessment Coordinator required for a 4 month Telecoms sector contract based in Helsinki.
The role is part of a data center consolidation programme, involving the gathering of comprehensive information regarding Servers, systems and networks to produce a complete inventory.
In the role of System Inventory & Assessment Coordinator you will:
- Be responsible for System Inventory/Assessment creation, preparation, execution and updates.
- Document system descriptions, roadmap, locations, contacts, complexity drivers (such as max allowed downtime), system interfaces, quality of system documentation, network complexity etc.
- Produce documentation such as written reports, inventory lists and network topology diagrams.
- Have contact/meetings with system maintenance teams (system/solution owners/managers, application managers/operations).
The ideal candidate for the role of System Inventory & Assessment Coordinator should have:
- Experience of system documentation, maintenance and developments for large IT organisations.
- Experience as an ICT Systems Engineer/Administrator.
- Previously been involved in a system relocation project and/or data center consolidation.
- Strong skills in MS Office (especially Excel)
- Excellent communication skills with fluent English language.
