GIS 2nd Level Engineer and Administrator required for a 6 month extendable contract in Riyadh, KSA
About the Client Company
Our client is the leading mobile telecommunication manufacturer. The project is a managed service contract for one of the main mobile telecommunications operators in Saudi Arabia.
Duties & Responsibilities
The main duties for this position will be: Work on shift 24x7 2nd Level restoration and preventative maintenance. Preventive maintenance activities Fault handling and corrective actions for ArcGIS 10.x (Infrastructure, Operating System, and Database) and GeoPlan.
Candidate Skills & Requirements
Candidates should have previous experience of: Good understanding of GIS standards and OGC specifications Good functional and technical knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS 9.x, 10.x Excellent Administration technical knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS 9.x, 10.x and Geoplan. Good knowledge of C#.NET, VB.NET, ASP.NET, and VS.NET Good OOAD skills, experience troubleshooting applications with HTML/JavaScript/AJAX Experience with XML, XSD, XSL, Web Services, SOAP, SOAP Extensions Experience with IIS,Oracle/SQL Server (SQL, Stored Procedures) 3+ years' experience in Level-2 Operations engineer role.
