Description
Responsibilities- Product design, detailing, and documentation release position in a best-in-class organization.
- Perform design modelling and drafting of highly complex parts and assemblies using ProE.
- Perform mechanical design, drafting, BOM creation, and documentation releases of Laser and imaging based data capture products.
- Work on sustaining and engineering changes.
- Mechanical design, analysis, testing, and documentation.
- Scope of work may require checking the work of other engineers or designers relative to proper application of drafting principles.
Must be able to work well both independently or under the direction of senior level engineers in a cross-functional team. Must be able to perform design modelling and drafting of highly complex parts and assemblies using ProE. Must have advanced knowledge of ProE part modelling, advanced surfacing, and drafting. Must be familiar with GD&T based on ASME Y14.5M-1994 standards and the associated inspection practices. Must be able to perform hands-on tolerance stake up analysis. Experience in the design of injection molded plastics, die cast, and sheet metal parts is required.
