Length of Engagement: up to 12 months - start date is ASAP.

Primary Responsibility:

ORGANIZATION is looking for experienced EPIC resources to assist with various implementations and projects across the Epic program at ORGANIZATION. These responsibilities could include application design, build, testing, documentation, training and implementation of Epic Cadence, Prelude, Resolute, EpicCare and My Chart.

Location:

The positions will be required to work ONSITE, as well as some remote/off site work locations. Local candidates preferred.

Required Skills:

  • Epic Certification is preferred but strong experience may be acceptable.
  • Strong experience with Epic Cadence, Prelude, EpicCare, MyChart Implementation (analyst build, functionality, solution design, training)
  • Strong experience with Epic report writing
  • Strong experience with Epic production services work
  • Strong experience with Epic bridges building complex integration
  • Ability to perform operational assessments and develop appropriate solution
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical issues to technical and non-technical staff.
  • Ability to problem-solve, troubleshoot, and diagnosis moderate to complex software problems.
  • Resourceful; ability to work independently or in a group.
  • Effective in relationships with business partners and ORGANIZATION team members
  • Coaches less experienced IT professionals
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Available for support after hours when required

General Responsibilities:

  • Work with Epic team members to identify operational workflows, identify appropriate solutions for implementing Epic solutions, obtaining approval from operations and IT, defining timelines, application build, testing, training, implementation and post go-live support.
  • Work with Epic team members to design and build, program, test and bring live new interfaces.
  • Work with Epic team members to program reports through Clarity.
  • Provide documentation as warranted on workflows, build, timeline and project plans, test scripts and outcomes.
  • Provides service to ISD client community, while protecting the integrity and confidentiality of all data and information through physical and electronic measures. 
  • Assists with the design and documentation of system functional requirements in formats to facilitate the development of deliverables, custom development efforts, project based planning documents such as scope documents.
  • Assures quality of information through business case and application level testing; validates test results to initial business needs.
  • Designs and documents system level, IS operations level, and end user level procedures to support business applications.
  • Provides ongoing troubleshooting, support, and maintenance of production applications.
  • Candidate must be highly motivated to follow project management, systems/software processes, measurement disciplines, and process improvement (CMMI) to improve product and services quality to achieve business objectives.
  • Performs in accordance with system-wide competencies/behaviors.
