Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:- Analysis and translation of functional specifications and change requests into technical specifications.
- Development, testing and implementation of ETL program logic.
- Analysis of data sources and requirements and business rules, perform logical and physical data modelling.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of data and applications through analysis, coding, writing clear documentation and problem resolution.
4-7 years experience with Oracle, SQL, Data Modeling required. Proven experience designing and developing transformation rules to support dimensional databases. Experience working in complex environments and in performing the hands on work of designing and coding extract, transform and load logic for large scale data integration systems. Master's/Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent; 6-8 years of demonstrated expertise in database design and development including ETL processes; Strong understanding of RDBMS concepts and Modeling techniques; Strong background in Data Warehousing principles and methodologies; Experience with large scale development, data integration and analytical projects is required; Experience with large/very large databases is required; Strong SQL skills on the Oracle platform are required; Experience with Data Modeling tool is required; Must work effectively in a fast paced, high volume, deadline driven environment.
