Our client, a leading Operator who develops, builds and operates offshore wind farms along the coasts of several European countries is currently urgently looking for an experienced Surveyor.

You will be required to provide an in-house capability to deal with all matters positional/survey/charting/set-out related.

To manage and check the survey contractors, establish a site wide consistent basis for same and checking mobilisation of positional/survey equipment onto vessels.

Maintain a ``Standard Offshore Chart`` showing day by day progress for navigation purposes.

Main tasks:

-Assist in the scheduling, planning and execution of marine surveys required to meet licence consent terms;
-Design, review and QC sub-contractor procedural documents with regard to positioning practices;
-Monitor the design, install and commission a bespoke RTK GPS network by a sub-contractor;
-Ensure that any supplied positioning equipment to vessels operating within the site is being correctly used. Provide suitable training to users where required;
-Witness and review sub-contractor vessel mobilisations ensuring that specifications are adhered to;
-Capability to design, procure and manage in-house ad-hoc acoustic inspection surveys using opportunistic vessels on contract (e.g. WFSV) where required;
-Review and QC of offshore survey data (e.g. position & verticality data) supplied to shore;
-Assist with the assimilation and distribution of the relevant survey information to all sub-contractors in a time efficient manner;
-Offshore client representation relating to survey related matters as and when required; and
-Assisting installation engineers on all other survey related matters.

Required experience / Skills

-Relevant degree and professional accreditation with suitable industry experience;
-Good communication and general management skills;
-Be proficient in the use of survey, charting and GIS systems;
-Should possess a high level of technical knowledge of all survey related matters; and
-Possess a strong working knowledge of contract execution within the renewable sector.
