Senior Linux Systems Developer (San Diego)ASan Diegobased research organization is currently seeking an experienced Linux Systems Developer to assist with web interfaces and modular development.
Location:San Diego
Duration: 3 Months
Rate: DOE
Key Features:
- At least 5+ years experience in the IT industry
- At least 2-3 years experience in the field of Unix/Linux tool development.
- Skilled at developing in BASH and Python.
- Experience with developing web interfaces
- Experience with modular development
- Experienced at creating tools for Linux based systems in C++
- Knowledge of both developing an API and developing to an API.
- Understanding of the implications of hardware architecture on application performance.
- Project Management
- Experience with requirement gathering from multiple stakeholders.
- International collaboration
- Documentation, Architectural Diagrams
- Presentation skills, Process Maturation, vendor management and customer service skills.
Education / Skills:
-Experience with cloud technologies; Openstack, Eucalyptus, Amazon, Rackspace, Azure
- Experience with C# under mono
- Experience working in a clinical or regulated environment
- Experience with Agile project development preferably scrum
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
-At least 5+ years experience in the IT industry
- At least 2-3 years experience in the field of Unix/Linux tool development.
