The purpose of this position is to lead structural changes, headcount and position changes, recruitment processes and assist in the overall process of transitioning into Sydney Trains.
The Senior Business Reform Manager leads and directs the implementation of policies, processes and procedures at the front line to achieve and align with the desired outcome of the Reform process, including the implementation of critical business transformation activities encompassing process reengineering and organisational and business changes, managing the development of labour capacity plans and rosters.
Experience required includes;
* Demonstrated experience in major workforce reform, including rosterin, capacity planning, workforce planning
* Demonstrated recent extensive experience in large scale organisational reform programs in a heavy engineering environment
Also including:
* Tertiary qualifications (degree) in Mechanical Engineering AND business - preferably MBA - AND desirable formal qualification in Change Management
* Demonstrated experience in developing, leading and deploying organisational change initiatives in a large complex organisation, with a range of blue collar and white collar environments, including organisational structure and capability design, development and implementation of people change programs, strategies and solutions
* Demonstrated experience in leading and implementing major workplace process improvement projects within a heavy engineering environment
* Demonstrated ability to lead a team and to contribute effectively in a team environment;
* Demonstrated experience in the development of project and program management capability across an organisation - establishing a Project Office and related processes
* Demonstrated good planning and organisational skills, analytical and problem solving skills, negotiation and communication skills developed in a highly unionised environment
