One of my key clients is working with some of the Industry Leaders within the Mining Sector listed amongst the ASX 200 on a new cloud based software application project. This is a rare opportunity to join the mining industry in a challenging software development role based on the fringe of the CBD.
I am looking for a Front End Java developer with a passion for UI/UX design to join the development team for their greenfield cloud-based mining industry application. You will be responsible for designing and implementing the user interface for a suite of applications.To be successful in this position you will have the following skills and experience:-
- Experience building JavaScript/AJAX/HTML 5/CSS3 applications required (Essential)
- Experience with libraries such as jQuery, Dojo, Backbone required (Essential)
- Experience with ExtJS a strong advantage
- Experience with mxGraph a strong advantage
- Javascript unit-testing experience, using tools such as JSUnit, qUnit, DOH or Jasmine, is a strong advantage
- UX/UI/Front End focus
- Wireframing/Sketching
- Graphic design skills (Photoshop or GIMP), creating icons, CSS "sprite" pallets and SVG are an advantage
- Experience with standard tools eg version control (Git, Mercurial, SVN), build tools (Maven, Ant, Gradle, Rake)
- Experience in an Agile development environment is also an advantage
