FINXL are on the look out for an experienced WebSphere Application Server Admin Specialist to join one of our busy government clients. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in WebSphere Application Server version 7.0. This is an urgent role so an immediate start is highly desirable.
Duties include;
Configure and manage computer systems and programs by undertaking configuration management, environmental support, audit log analysis and documenting.
Ensure developed or acquired applications meet clients' requirements and satisfy established Service Level Agreements by providing on-going technical support for the applications.
Configure and manage applications that comply with the client's information technology policies, standards and procedures by following the IM&IT approved methodology and standards for configuration management and environmental support for programs and for project documentation.
Review proposals for deployment of new JEE based applications or modifications to existing systems to determine technical feasibility and to establish estimates of cost, time and resources required to configure, manage and maintain applications by preparing and reviewing Feasibility Studies, Development Proposals, Solution Design Documents, Project Management Plans, Project Schedules etc.
You will have;
Solid experience with WebSphere Application Server 7.0
5 years experience doing a similar role
Excellent Communication skills
Government experience is a bonus but not essential.
