Description

  • Demonstrate a command of assigned therapeutic areas and expertise with assigned products
  • Research and write original content for promotional activities, slide presentations, meeting summaries, and other materials for healthcare professional audiences
  • As needed, serve as scientific resource to support and/or back up Scientific Directors for content review and approval
  • Research, develop and write content that is scientifically accurate.
  • Clearly communicate medical scientific concepts in a condensed, audience-appropriate way
  • Follow all internal processes and procedures with regard to workflow, development of deliverables, and adherence to industry best practices, including GPP2
  • Demonstrate the flexibility/adaptability necessary to function on different therapeutic teams as needed
  • Interpret and apply clinical data in medical communication deliverables
  • Maintain a proactive approach on initiatives for existing and prospective clients
  • Work in conjunction with account and project management to develop and adhere to logical and attainable timelines for project completion
  • Participate in team meetings to provide input and aid in troubleshooting/problem-solving
  • Liaise with Medical Writing Team and Scientific Director as necessary for scientific and strategic direction and agreement
  • Liaise with Medical Writing Team as necessary to discuss workload and timeline issues
  • Collate and incorporate author/client comments
  • Participate in author/client teleconferences and answer content-related questions
  • Lead author teleconferences
  • Manage and review freelancers work
  • Attend group brainstorming sessions to aid in strategy/goals
  • Attend advisory boards, roundtables, etc, to record and summarize meeting output in a formal report
  • Participate in strategic publications planning and related research
  • Assist the development of new-business presentations
  • Attend and participate in new-business presentations as appropriate
  • Have a client facing focus
