Embedded, C++, TLS, Transport Layer Security, Microcontrollers, Ipswich, Suffolk, £40 per hour, 6 monthsTHE ROLE:
A leading Electronics company in there market sector have an immediate requirement for an Embedded Software Engineer with Transport Layer Security (TLS) experience.
You are required to join a team of 5, to work on a brand new product development for a European client of theirs.
In the role you will be required to modify an existing stack (working at the physical and data link layer), by opening it up and making modifications to the TLS protocols in order for the product to meet the European customer's specification.
For the role you should have excellent experience in Transport Layer Security (TLS) development, and be used to working at a low level on the stack.
With this being an Electronics product which incorporates Embedded Microcontrollers, you should have experience in Embedded Software development and Microcontrollers / Microprocessors such as PIC Microcontrollers.
You should be a team player, who can work with Embedded Firmware Engineers, Electronics Engineer and Validation Engineers.
Initially you will be tasked with working on the low level TLS development, but there could be the opportunity to work on the application work afterwards.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
* Strong C++ programming
* Embedded Software development
* Transport Layer Security (TLS) development, working at a low level layer (physical and datalink)
* Microcontroller / Microprocessor knowledge
