Description
JOB PURPOSE
1.To provide advice and policy development on corporate finance including the cost of capital for the sector, finance ability and other financial issues in the sector.
2.To support the Director of Corporate Finance as the internal expert on corporate finance, the cost of capital and finance ability for the organisation
3.To liaise and communicate the organisation's policies to the City and other financial stakeholders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
*To be responsible for providing timely advice and analysis to Executive Team and the organisations colleagues on financial issues, in a way that non specialists can readily understand.
*To be responsible for keeping up to date with and reviewing the cost of capital, financial indicators and macro-economic assumptions.
*To support the Director of Corporate Finance in the development and implementation of corporate finance policy, engaging with key investors, the City, academics and commentators to keep abreast of developments in the financial markets, specifically those relating to the water sector.
*To support the Director of Corporate Finance to develop policy in accordance with the organisation policy process including the completion of impact assessments, options appraisal and consultation and take action as appropriate based upon findings
