Description
My client is looking for an Informix Database Administrator for a short term contract to start in June.
In order to be considered for this role you will need to have:
- Proven experience in supporting Informix Databases
- Prior experience managing HDR and RSS issues
- Informix Version 10 & 11 databases
The main responsibilities for this position include:
- Daily database support for a large number of Informix databases (both production and non-production)
- Checking the databases each day and log file back-ups
- Responding to any alerts in order to fix the issues and problems
- Resolving Issue tickets
This is a short term engagement for a reputable client based in Sydney's Western suburbs. The estimated commencement date is June, so this would be a perfect opportunity for anyone who's contract it coming to an end in the next 6 weeks, and looking for an immediate start for a new role.
