My client is currently looking for a lead Subsea Equipment Engineer to join their Subsea team here in Houston. Please see the description, if interested please apply directly with a CV.

Description:

Provide engineering and project management services through all phases of an asset's life: Conceptual, pre-FEED, FEED, ITT package creation, bid reviews, detail design, construction and test management, installation, pre-commissioning, operation and abandonment, as it pertains to subsea equipment used in field development projects.

Main Areas of Interest
· Design and Specification of the following equipment:
o Subsea Trees
o Well/Flowline Jumper Systems (Rigid and Flexible)
o Manifolds
o PLEMs/PLETs
o Completion/Workover Riser Systems (Riser, EDP, LRP, etc.)
o Subsea Processing Equipment (Pumps, MPFMs, Wet Gas Meters, etc.)
· Interface management between the subsea equipment and other systems in a subsea field development:
o Drilling
o Controls/Distribution
o Pipelines
o Flow Assurance
o Installation/Commissioning
· Develop the testing program for this equipment:
o Qualification testing
o FAT/EFAT
o SIT
o Pre-installation verification
· Evaluation and selection of equipment suppliers
· Supervision/management of suppliers during project execution, including:
o Detail design
o Manufacturing
o Testing
o Installation
· Intervention support throughout the life of the field

Non-Technical
· Ensures compliance with internal Quality procedures
· Adheres to company work processes to ensure that deliverable documents are of consistent high quality
· Plans work and establishes priorities to ensure work is completed on schedule
· Represents Doris Inc in a positive and professional manner
· Performs other tasks as may be assigned by supervisor

Software Skills Required
Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access and Project) - required
Visual BASIC - desired
SQL Database - desired
Ansys/Abacus or other FEA program - desired
Education/Professional Registration/Work Experience Requirements

BS Mech Engr. or equivalent - required
10- 15 years of experience performing the above tasks or relevant experience. Possesses a working competency in performing the above tasks in at least 4 of the 6 main areas of interest with little or no supervision. Basic familiarity with all 6 main areas. - required
Professional Registration or progress toward registration - desired
