TheOpportunity:You will be in a team of JavaScript and C/C++ engineers, responsible for leading the development of a HTML5/JavaScript/CSS frontend that is currently transitioning from a proof of concept to beta release.
Based inCentral London, this role requires a Front-End Web Developer to lead the implementation of a video streaming service for a Global Organization.
This is a contract role with duration of 6 months with the possibility of extension.
Responsibilities:
- Working as part of a team to implement a Web driven UI based on supplied designs
- Understanding the project vision, key dates and milestones
- You will work closely with a small, focused team to deliver your design through implementation until the release of the product
The Scope:
The following skills are required for the role:
- Demonstrable experience creating interactive user interfaces
- Demonstrable experience with Web technologies HTML/JavaScript/CSS
- Experience creating web applications
- Experience with source code revision control (Perforce preferred)
- Ability to work to strict deadlines without direct supervision.
Nice To Have's
- Experience using application frameworks and libraries, e.g. JQuery, Backbone
- Experience with other scripting or programming languages such as C/C++, C#, Python, Lua etc.
- Experience with design tools (e.g. Photoshop)
