This outstanding school (as described by Ofsted) is looking to recruit a suitably qualified teacher of Science (Biology) for an on-going contract.
The school is smaller than most 11-18 schools (720 pupils in main school and 120 in the 6th form) but provides the highest quality of care and education.
The school prides itself on its strong Catholic ethos and, whilst the school is happy to accept applications of all faiths and beliefs, the successful candidate should be sympathetic to the school ethos.
The School was awarded a second specialism in Science in 2007. This has enabled the school to further develop the subjects of Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics and to further develop links with the rest of the curriculum.
Pupils are expected to maintain the highest order of discipline and are encouraged to engage in voluntary work in the local community in order to enhance the spiritual ethos of the school.
